Our court system allows us to be innocent until proven guilty and we are allowed a fair trial before a jury of our peers.
Bears, on the other hand, are fucked.
A 20-year-old grizzly bear in Montana was euthanized after it was discovered he'd been the culprit in a series of "home invasions" (see: looking for something to eat) over the years.
Apparently, we can give bears the death penalty for trespassing, but if you diddle with kids in inappropriate ways, you get five years in prison and parole.
